My shot at Roy Moore hardly makes your point.

I usually agree with you, but I'm not following you on this one. This gal is going to slip into obscurity, she is not going to be propped up as some symbol of the left.

This view is probably endorsed by other socially incompetent bubble dwellers in high places.

Because that's the end of it. She said something idiotic and got fired. What more do you possibly want?

The environment she was surrounded in (CBS and the liberal MSM) emboldened her enough to feel like saying those hateful despicable words were anywhere near acceptable. It's the tip of the iceberg.

They fired her over it. How it that a suggestion of something being "near acceptable?"

There's a huge difference between things said behind closed doors and making an idiot of yourself on social media.

You don't know what happened behind closed doors. You're just bitching about hypotheticals and lack of coverage when it's clear that the killer and his motivation have taken over the news.

Was she fired for her views or for pulling back the curtain to reveal them?

While the thread's premise may be a bit of a stretch, who's pressing people she worked under about this and how prevelant or not such views are in their organization?

Near as I can figure out, the cover up is that since she said what she said, CBS quite obviously was accepting of that kind of thinking, or she wouldn't have said it.

The fact that they fired her means nothing.

I guess?

What sort of follow up do you want besides her firing, lynching?

How about NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, talking about it..reporting on it..at least the following day????

Had the target been a rap concert and a Fox associated person tweeted out something similiar about democrats we would hear about it for days.

Do you seriously not understand this? Really? If not, then you are part of the problem in this country.

She had to show her arse to the world before she realized she crossed the line. She was no longer in her liberal cocoon of the CBS elite.

first of all she was a lawyer in their legal department, she'd been there a year.

CBS would have at minimum a thousand lawyers covering a myriad of legal disciplines, taxes, real estate, contracts, intellectual property, franchising, copy rights and on and on and on.

why anyone with a half way decent job would have a facebook page is beyond me. have you ever heard of anything good ever happening to someone because of something they posted on facebook?

if it had been this guy

Jonathan H. Anschell serves as Executive Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Secretary for CBS Corporation. Anschell oversees the Company’s securities, corporate governance, executive compensation, ERISA and real estate matters, and assists the Chief Legal Officer with respect to Board of Directors matters. Anschell also supervises the CBS Law Department’s intellectual property and labor and employment practice groups.

that might be a story.....i'm guessing that guy doesn't have a facebook page.

How about a rigorous media self- audit of the insular Coastal, Ivy League , predominantly secular Jewish Progressive culture they have created, and how it might be creating a environment of toxicity that the rest of us in flyover country have to deal with every single day ? That, pending an investigation into this mass atrocity, might have possibly contributed to the shooter's motive.

No, that is the problem.

She's not an on air type. Most people didn't even see what she said. She's fired. No questions asked, no "suspension without pay", no "it won't happen again". She's gone.

Sorry you didn't get your pound of flesh. It's like you're outraged because she was too big of an idiot to even be controversial.

I want it treated like republicans are treated. Every single coworker and every single democrat politician should be asked to disavow what she said.

That is why leftist reporters do that to conservatives - "well if they have to be asked to disavow must be some reason to suspect they don't"

Oh... you mean something similiar to what CNN, MSNBC, NBC, etc... did during the presidential campaign. You know, when they interviewed an individual racist that had nothing to do with the overwhelming majority of Trump supporters and then tried to play it off as that was the mainstream supporters.

Okay... I think I understand where you are coming from. Obviously I have failed to see the true objectivity of the reporting by CNN, MSNBC, NBC, NY Times, etc...

Perhaps you didn't see Juice Terry's post. Nothing to see here. Evidently everyone is treated the same by the major news organizations.

I swear to god, the shite that people cleaim on this board never ceases to amaze me.

I know for a fact that a Columbia educated lawyer was surprised by the fact that saying dozens of "Repugs" being killed was no big deal would get her fired.

She didn't get the idea that she could post such a thing from the ether.

That she over estimated how absurd and how public she could be doesn't really change that.

And, I know for a fact that ever liberals news organization would have pointed that reality out had some high level executive at Fox posted "meh, just a bunch of figs" after Orlando.

And every fricking leftist knows this.

You're right.

Can you imagine a top level conservative saying, "meh, just a bunch of gang bangers" and the other networks just laying off........

Dude, she was fired.

I'm shocked that even happened.

There's nothing more.

She will no doubt be hired again for another great job by some company full of hateful progs that agree with her every word. People like her always land on their feet.
