You do realize a majority of media movie critics are Progressive Left, right?

Let’s look at these phony, cowardly, Marxists.

They praised ‘One Batter After Another’ because it was Antifa adjacent.
Hollywood made it Best Picture!!!
The obvious reason the audience reviews are so high is because I would bet over 50% of those were young girls slobbering over Leonardo’s star power.

Now let’s look at ‘Citizen Vigilante.’ Where are the critics? Crickets.
Look at the audience reviews. Overwhelmingly positive.
When the critics do show up, if ever, they will be lock step in their condemnation because they know they will lose their jobs and be harassed. Even if one or two of them loved it, they will lie and write a negative review.

I only consider the value of the critics score inversely.

I only get my movie reviews from Siskel and Ebert, these days. Every now and again, Gene Shalit.

Maybe it's because Uwe Boll has never made a good movie.

I hear you about Hollywood, and you failed to mention Sinners, the 'whitey is literally the devil' vampire movie, but I don't think this movie has anything that would make it an award winner.

They did the same thing with Matt Walsh's (excellent) 2nd movie by refusing to review it at all.

They also trash every single Christian movie that gets released.

Don't care. If I want to watch a movie, I watch it and I'll critique it myself. My critique is the only one that matters

Did that just dawn on you. I watched Citizen Vigilante yesterday and I feel it should be required showing 24/7 365 for the next 5 years.

I love the truth!!

I remember when the movie Gone With The Wind was getting some negative attention a few years back. Many on the left wanted the movie essentially banned because the movie semi accurately portrayed the way slaves were treated and how they lived during the Civil War period. There were several movie critics who didn't think the movie should be banned but they did largely agree the movie needed to be edited a bit and shown with a viewer trigger warning.

I gave up movies a long time ago due to horrible writing and no original plots. The last movie I saw was Life of Pi. It was in 2012.

One Battle After Another was the worst movie I’ve ever seen. But, seeing Penn getting pegged seemed appropriate.

A movie trailer is a better gauge than movie critics. It's been that way since at least the seventies.
