Yoho bends the knee to AOC

Never should have apologized. Now AOC will use it to bludgeon him and anyone else that dares to confront her in the House.
The Florida Republican apologized for his tone during the encounter with the firebrand freshman progressive, in which a reporter with The Hill overheard him call her "disgusting" and “out of your freaking mind” for her suggestion that poverty and unemployment are leading to an increase in crime in New York City amid the coronavirus pandemic. As he was walking away, he also referred to her with a crude, sexist slur.
Yoho denied directing the use of profanity at his colleague.

“I rise today to apologize for the abrupt manner of the conversation I had with my colleague from New York. It is true that we disagree on policies and visions for America but that does not mean we should be disrespectful,” he said in a floor speech.
“Having been married for 45 years with two daughters, I'm very cognizant of my language," he added. "The offensive name-calling, words attributed to me by the press were never spoken to my colleagues and if they were construed that way, I apologize for the misunderstanding.” LINK

Never apologize to these people. Republicans need to stop try to be “honorable”, you’re up against people who have no concept of honor

Ya, I'd definitely apologize to somebody that loosely slings "white supremacist" at her political rivals

Another Republican pussing out. Shocking. And these people STILL can't figure out why Trump crushed the field four years ago. Well, I think Ted Cruz figured it out but nobody else did.

so it's okay to call a congresswoman a bitch now when you don't agree with her?

Behind every panicky politician is a lot of corporate money in fear of leftist retribution. He got his leash yanked.

Stupid. He shouldn't have said anything in way of an apology. A statement saying he did not use profanity at all would have been sufficient. No apology necessary.

Is it okay to causually call people that disagree with you racist and white supremacist? She's the most unhinged and inflamatory person in all of government.

When she's actually a bitch? Sure. Why not? The fact that she's a congresswoman doesn't afford her any special treatment.
She was a bartender in NYC before she stumbled bass-ackwards into this gig. I guarantee she's heard a lot worse.

Yes. You have my permission to call this bitch a bitch, bitch

I really wanna get into politics.
“I stand here today to apologize. I didn’t realize that you being a stupid bitch would trigger me so much. I’m deeply sorry that I lashed out at you while you were being a stupid bitch”

It's crazy how crazy the trumptards are. The dude is apologize for calling another person a "fricking bitch" and this is considered bad according the trumptards.
Sad state of affairs.

I'm fairly certain she's been called much, much worse.
And, throughout history, congressmen have often called each other much worse to their faces.

Yes. Not that you should get a gold star for it, but who cares?
