England has a knife crime problem at the moment. Cities like Birmingham and London have experienced a rise in stabbings and it's deeply upsetting. Sadly it never takes long, during periods of national grief, for a politician to come up with a stupid plan that involves technology.
Today's lunacy comes from Scott Mann, who's the MP for North Cornwall. He suggested, in a Tweet, that all knives sold in the UK should have an embedded GPS tracker presumably so some shadowy knife agency can build a control room somewhere to watch what all the knives are up to.

I’ll raise the Brits. How about they start arresting people who have knives over a certain length. How about they ban knives? How about they give 10 year sentences for possession of a knife? How about they give life sentences?

I take it ole chap doesn't watch Forged in Fire. On a serious note that is a country that allowed ISIS fighters and supporters to return. Over 400 was the last estimate I saw yet knives are real enemy to them.

The majority of crimes committed with guns/knives whatever, are committed by those who vote alongside them.
So, once again, Progressives have to project their depravity on their enemy by making this "nationalist" boogieman.

In London, Progs don't care if their Muslim allied stab everyone they hate, so as long as their enemies have no way to protect themselves.

When a Progressive says he wants to ban guns, whose guns do you think he will go after first? Will it be the Demographic that votes with him and commits the majority of the crimes? Hell no.
