You know, the only place I ever really saw that was on this board. His poll numbers were never that great, it seemed to be a strawman narrative on this board just so it could get knocked down.

The only reason the Washington Post existed in the weeks following Trump's inauguration was to stick up for Barry's "legacy". Look at the archives from that time and you'll think Obama was better than all of the founding fathers combined, based on what they wrote about him.

Locally I think it was Jarvis DeBerry's job around the same time.

wut. He would have killed Trump if he had been able to run again. He was by far the most popular politician in America, even as Trump was being elected.

Obama said they were essentially voting for his third term and his legacy was on the ballot.

They got curb-stomped in the electoral college

Obama left office with a 60% approval rating. Tied with Eisenhower and behind only Reagan, Roosevelt, and Clinton, and only by a few percent.

That's a little more meaningful a number than the likes and dislikes on a video from a South African youtube channel.

If he said that, he was sorely under-estimating the negative Clinton effect.

Obviously, you adore Barry and we did get you. You are still with her but lie and say you voted Trump

That is a highly misleading number dude. His approval ratings rose in 2016 because the two people running for prez were very unpopular and he looked good by comparison

It’s much fairer to judge his 8 year avg rating, which was low by historical standards

He got trashed in 2 midterms and he had zero coat tail effect in 2016

Exit polls showed more Americans wanted a change in direction

You think it’s impossible to vote obama and then vote trump? Or dislike Hillary to the point of voting against her?

You’re over the age of 50 you should have enough life experience to understand someone not always being in lock step.
