You don't know anything about this guy or why he offed himself so STFU douche.
Bourdain was very open about his demons and previously said he tried to kill himself, but his daughter held him back. So if you listen to his interviews, you'd have a pretty good idea why he killed himself so STFU douche.

I never rejoice over someone taking their own life. It's really sad actually. I pray for his soul. We should all take a moment and pray for him.

Just stopping in to say, as someone who has been affected by the suicide of 5 different close people including my step-brother who was my best friend, as well as a sufferer of anxiety and depression both:
Frick all of these “oh, he took the coward’s way out” and “how selfish” to leave his daughter fatherless. That is a downright ignorant response.
You are spending your emotions trying to rationalize an irrational thought process that is irrational due to mental illness, regardless of the cause thereof, and it is a fruitless labor so you resort to those tired cliche statements.
It is not as simple as you are able to make it for people facing those issues, and it really only makes you look asinine and proves your inability to comprehend anything outside your own circumstances.
I pray that none of you ever have to have that event happen that changes your point of view on suicide and mental illness. I’d say you should be ashamed of yourself, but you simply are ignorant to what you are talking about.

However, this one is just a bit further out there given that Bourdain's suicide is one of the least surprising, it literally just happened, and there is literally no objective evidence to suggest it was anything but a suicide.
