I am one of the first on the Trump train and I am still fully 100% behind all of his policies but, It was dumb. Yes, it was dumb.
Simple as that.
Was meathead a friend to conservatives. No. Did he say plenty of horrible things about conservatives and Trump. Yes.
BUT..... the day it is announced he was murdered Trump should have kept his mouth and fingers away from the phone.
Is it the same as Charlie haters? no, but the left will spend the next 4 weeks saying it is exactly the same. The media will back that response. AntiTrumpers will back that response. He will be lucky if he isn't censured.
He needed to make it about him on a day he shouldn't have said a thing.
I'll still take the absolute worst version of Trump over any liberal shitbag. How many millions of illegals would have continued to pour into the US under Chuckles?
Simple as that.
