He did say he didn't know. He added that he didn't want to give an irresponsible answer by saying something that might not be true. Now, he said that after about the third time she asked, but...
He knows why she's asking. So he did exactly right. He got it into the conversation that no matter how many of them there are, per the Geneva Convention, their blood is on Hamas, not Israel.

No it's not. Population density estimations are available and the lethality of these weapons as they relate to nearby civilians have been extensively studied and can be reasonably estimated.
