As long as everything doesnt end up covered in ashes with marauding bands of cannibals and their catamites lurking about then im good to go.
I read that book over two nights on your recommendation....brutal stuff. It really grabs you. the first night i stayed up until midnight reading. nuked about 80% of the book in that first sitting.

Massive quarantine of entire cities, including the entire region around Wuhan. Travel suspended. Borders being selectively closed. Number of people on absolute lockdown EXCEEDS the populations of NYC, LA, Chicago, and Dallas COMBINED.
Expedited building phases of brand new massive "hospitals" (read: containment centers)
Admitted fatalities per the Red government = 60....
I am betting we can add at least 3 zeroes to that number, if not more.
And now its on our shores...

Me too. Of all McCarthy's books, that was the most brutal.

They aren't flying back on Delta and then let loose. They'll be brought to a containment area, checked by medical specialists, flown back with medical specialists on board, and then checked again (maybe even quarantined for a few days) once they get back to the US.
