X has become such a shite show of trolling engagement farmers

Elon must be fine with it, but it’s gotten so much worse in the last couple of years.
I used to value my feed because I chose thoughtful people that posted reasonably solid content.
Now, even those have morphed into clickbait leads for their substacks or books, and the platform defaults to the “for you” crap that is algortihmed to piss you off.
I realize this not an airport, but close to announcing my departure anyway. I never went there for outrage porn in the first place.

Just don’t read the outrage porn. I find it pretty easy to avoid them by not scrolling down to the filth.

Still, the algorithms can be kind of heavy-handed if you just look at one type of post. At least for me.
Someone posted an old Bugs Bunny cartoon recently, so I watched it, and my feed was full of Looney Tunes clips the rest of the day. Not that I'm complaining.

There isn't a spot on the internet that isn't full of rage bait trolls. Especially if the site generates cash for content. Hate / Rage sells. Nerdrotic had 60k subscribers when I quit because he was almost 100% negative. He has 1.28 million now. It isn't even that I disagreed with him on any stance. It is that he focused 100% on negative stories. Slight exaggeration but only slight.
So yeah, any platform that pays cash money for content is loaded with rage trolling.
