Not Kemp's fault that Trump underperformed numerous Republicans in the Atlanta suburbs just like he did in 2016. If he wasn't elevating a power-hungry tyrant like Doctor Lockdown, who got sick pleasure out of businesses and schools being shut down, he'd have won Georgia.
The GA voters rewarded Kemp because he kept businesses open and essentially told Doctor Lockdown and Lockdown Don to go frick themselves. The below quote from Kemp is a big reason why he is still in office, unlike Trump.
