Secretly and without permission, in a nation we are not in conflict with?

We did the same thing with special forces and may be the same base. The Iraqis drove up on it and our special forces wiped them out.

It’s not a base. Just an outpost to launch pilot rescue missions from if necessary.

Edit: Love the DV who can’t even support their argument. Not to mention DVing someone saying America first and always.

Of course. If we ask permission they might say no.

You use terms like "regularly "that are relative terms. Once every two weeks is regularly. Is that laughable? Hell, no! We built a makeshift runway in Iran without them, knowing it. And we flew enormous planes into that runway without them, knowing it. That was in Iran, not Iraq.
What's the difference in that scenario, two day three days versus the idiotic WSJ Base bullshite?

And giant cargo planes flying into a war zone without being detected versus stealth helicopters flying into a little-watched desert. The Iraq “base” looks a lot more feasible.

Ok how many weeks are we going undetected, Iran is a war zone now? 1-2?

Where is this little watched desert in Iran?

The little-watched desert was in Iraq.

I don’t find it difficult to believe a country like Israel could establish a very low profile “base” in a desert in Iraq. In fact, I bet Israel could establish a base in the desert of Utah and no one notice for months, maybe years.

I am a big believer in government incompetence. Remember the Chinese were flying surveillance balloons right over America and no one noticed for years.

Let's hope no other country does this on our home turf. Because if they do, people like you would be "well, we do it so it is cool".

Might as well expand into Iraq. They've already got a secret base in Langley, VA.

Amirite?

Yes there are some clowns that still believe Blumpf allowed them to build a base and fly over the country.
