I think you’re fine standing on that, after all, it isn’t quite a new concept that Iran wishes our country and everyone in it a painful death, is evolving their capabilities to put words into action in various different possible ways, and is a force for violence and chaos in a part of the world historically (modern times) ravaged with death and terrorism that’s all but ready to turn a corner and be a new, net benefit to the world in who knows what all possible ways - except yet again, there’s Iran viscously meddling and sabotaging those honorable efforts. Not to mention the effect that has on many world economy “tangents.”

This all has been discussed and debated for many years, across a range of countless experts of every possible kind and category. Yet we have some anonymous internet message board trolls who think they just now figured it all out: “Errbody’s been a’lying!!”

Flown into a secret base?

Yes, Do you think it would be easier to bring it by camel? Do you think it’s not possible? The US built an runway inside Iran itself without them knowing it.

Wtf is the mission at says super secret base?

I don’t know. I read something about special forces operations.

A secret base with Israeli cargo aircraft flying in and out would be discovered relatively quickly.

So this secret base has special forces now and isn't logistics for fighter aircraft?

No it wouldn’t.

As I wrote, “I don’t know.”

Why would they need C-139s? If it was for special forces close support, they might have a small generator and a couple of gallons of fuel per day, enough food, medical supplies, and replenishment of ammunition. They could carry all of that in the stealth helicopters that I assume they would use there. I’m sure I missed plenty, but not enough to fill a C-139.

I don’t know where you got 14 from, but maybe. Maybe it’s 14, maybe it’s 41, maybe it’s 103. We are all reading the same stuff.

You seem to be able to draw much firmer conclusions, from sparse reporting, than most of us are.

. It had to be done and there was no better time than the present.

You likely say that because you are presumably under the impression that Iran had or was close to having nuclear weapons.

You’re under that impression because a certain nation pushed that narrative in the media despite our own intel agencies repeatedly telling congressional hearings and briefing the president that they didn’t.

My point in saying this is that it’s very likely the American people who generally will support foreign wars when there is a reasonable justification were yet again sold a bill of goods to send our military off to do the bidding of powerful interests under false pretenses just like we were in Iraq.

And now we find that the same government whose ambassador openly said we’re “fine” with what was “promised to Israel in the Bible” that being a greater Israel with borders stretching from Egypt into numerous other gulf states was aware that Israel was setting up armed bases with Iraq and firing on them when challenged as part of a war that’s only sent gas prices through the roof, made the midterms harder, cost us billions and left Iran in charge of the strait of Hormuz?

It’s all a lot to accept as a proud American and feels a lot like a humiliation ritual.

Well having experience flying over Iraq for years it seems very unlikely the have a base.

A special forces team maybe but to do what?

The idea you could fly Hercs in regularly and never be found out is laughable.

And let’s not act like this was an isolated case. IDF has likely done this everywhere. The only reason they faced any time was because it went viral.

And of course, you make an excuse for this blasphemy.

Then tell me why it’s not even brought up since that thread? That incident is very damaging to Israel. Yet, people like you on this board are constantly on the “bombing Iran good” train.

You use terms like "regularly "that are relative terms. Once every two weeks is regularly. Is that laughable? Hell, no! We built a makeshift runway in Iran without them, knowing it. And we flew enormous planes into that runway without them, knowing it. That was in Iran, not Iraq.
