Okay dumbass. Let’s break it down. 2019 is before COVID. 2020 is COVID and also George Floyd. That leads to defund the police. Lockdowns are generally ignored by late 2020 and over by 2021. By your logic, 2021 should have been this huge abbreviation then every thing from 2022 on would be at or below 2019 levels. That didn’t happen you had a linear increase since 2019 driven by urban crime. That is due to antipolicing policies, not COVID moron.

Or even just remember something he lived through?

"In January 2020, the disease spread worldwide, resulting in the COVID-19 pandemic."

- Wiki

2019 is the perfect year for this because it was the last full year prior to Covid and the shutdowns.

We currently live in 2025, so we can't assess this incomplete year yet. So what's left? 2024.

2019-2024, the dates chosen for this survey.

Thats because he is dumb as frick apparently.

Pretty hard evidently as well to use the words “I was wrong” as well after repeatedly getting pointed out timelines.

Letting animals run wild gives some a taste for it apparently. Not sure when the mob looting of stores we see happen currently in liberal cities really became commonplace, but I expect the Floyd riots were a kickoff point.

All of the other time periods in your "graph" where 1-4 year increments and this one is 2 decades long and you are complaining about the OP's timeline?

You are whining about cherry picking while presenting cherry picked info?

That's idiotic...just like everything else you have said in this thread.

Most big cities are also fudging their numbers too. It’s worse than the data they publish.

violent crime in urban areas increased by 61% from 2019 to 2024.

How is that a deflect? This is directly from the article. Why would you pick an abnormal time period, worldwide shutdown, to begin your data point?

Why not start with data from 2015?

I enjoy the debates from all sides, but you're having trouble with dates. The lockdowns didn't start until 2nd quarter of 2020. Using 2019 as a reference year is valid, because that was the year that immediately preceded the Covid shutdowns. It's the best possible candidate if you want to assess the impact of things that happened in 2020 and thereafter.
