We should have basic government healthcare. The better you maintain your health the cheaper your insurance should be. End of story.

Is the presidential physical fitness award still a thing?

It is but many schools don't push it as hard as they once did...

IDK. I remember when Arnold was the physical fitness ambassador for George Bush 1.

Yep.

I remember one year I got the red patch instead of the blue one and I felt like I shamed my family

A guy at my office keeps telling us the average American female is 5'4" and 160! I mean, that is fricking obese.

This appears true.

I remember the culture shock that I went through the day I got my first "real" job out of college. For 5 years on campus I was surrounded by OT 7s on an average then I had to go work in the real world.

It would be scammed. There would be some doctor in town that you paid $200 for and they would declare you fit to receive the $2000.

Government needs to step out of the way on this. If anything, change the food pyramid to emphasize the importance of drinking water and eating protein.

My dad always told me that the biggest problem today is soda. When he was growing up, getting a Coke was a rare treat. Now people drink it with every meal and in between meals. Drinking water would do most people more good than any other change they could make.

I would because it’s an incentive not a requirement. Same thing for IQ’s.
But America will slowly die out because fat is now beautiful and being intelligent is being destroyed by tik tok and other mindless shite.

That, energy drinks and fruit juices that people think are healthy...

I haven't had refined sugar in over 15 years... Best thing I ever did in my life...

But we have 87,000 new IRS agents to stop the scams.

Seriously, I know it would be scammed. Heck all tax incentive programs are scammed right now.

How about cheaper medical insurance premiums for those who choose to lead a healthier lifestyle?

Doubt it would change anything as a majority of obese people don't pay a lot of taxes anyway.

You severely underestimate the amount of obese people in the country if you're dumb enough to think that

Yes absolutely. Fatness is a massive tax burden.

No. Reduce taxes. Make the unfit pay for their costly medical bills and lifestyle choices without being subsidized by my labour. There should be NO, 0 tax credits.

Here is my income, here is what I pay, and it should be much lower than what it currently is.

Or just make me take a body fat test every year/physical every year and you can lower my insurance payments per month by 95% (assuming you have a yearly salary and insurance comes out of monthly payments, as mine do).

Just got get measured the first week in January after the Christmas holidays. I'm sure you'll be above 11% around that time.

I support people being financially responsible for their health.

In other words, the government not paying for VERY expensive treatments for chronic conditions when someone is 65 that are the result of a lifetime of poor health choices.

Well, we're going to have an issue with even defining this.
