Good point. Instead I would give all of California north of southern L.A.

Yeah. Let's give the progressives the most productive farmland, the dairy capital of the country and immense water resources so they can screw all of that up too. Or in the case of water even further screw that up.

Why wait? We could take them back immediately & if there's resistance then we can greatly thin the liberal herd while we're at it.

NO.

My family had a vacation home in S Lake Tahoe growing up.

Screw that.

Let's start a Lake to the Sea campaign,

Yes, but with one caveat: we keep San Diego. We need a West Coast port/naval base. SD can become a part of AZ.

Only if we can take all federal lands from there and call it ours.

I would give up the metropolitan areas of Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles in a heartbeat. Like yesterday.

The other areas of those states are actually somewhat conservative, even very conservative in some areas.

And I live in CA. ( Trying to get out though)

First, we need the Pacific ports.

Second, if you give up states now everyone will know you will give up more in the future.

We need a Pacific naval base. I'd give up those states except for San Diego and Camp Pendleton.

You want to give up all of the US west coast ports?

I’d want Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Yukon Territory in return.

Why not? What exactly do those of us in Louisiana have to gain by having the west coast as part of our country?

Absolutely nothing.

No. The first thing those commies would do would be to give Russia and China military basing rights on our doorstep.

When you are talking Washington you are probably thinking Seattle. My wife and I visit relatives 40 miles above Seattle in Snohomish County every year and it’s gorgeous country with scrumptious seafood that hasn’t been out of the water long, fantastic wine and (especially) ciders, and good, friendly, salt of the earth people. I’d prefer to keep them in the union, thank you. Because I would have a place up there in a heartbeat.

100% yes

We would build a wall and not allow them here. They can move to the utopia known as Mexico if they desire. Never back to the US, not even for a visit.

I would also like to give NY, CT, MA, VT, NH to the Canadians.

Nope. No Yankees allowed. If they cared about the direction of this country they would have moved away from the west coast years ago. They made their decision.
