You’re still not getting it. The female drivers option is a choice for the customer, not a mandate from the app. Are you demented or something?

I not once claimed it wasn't discrimination. Just that is not illegal discrimination. People discriminate all the time. I wouldn't hire a 500lb whale as a nutritionist. I wouldn't hire a 90lb girl to be a trainer to be a weight lifter. If a group of ten 20 year old, 6ft tall, 200lb plus African American males are walking towards me on the street at 1 in the morning, i would react differently than if it were a group of 10 Asian females of the same age. Even a 70 year old African American woman would react differently. Discrimination. We do it all the time.

Oh, I'm getting it.
I'm not demented. I'm wise as a fox.
I realize many women feel uncomfortable around a man they do not know even if it is just a man who is hired to drive people to their destination.
However, there are also a lot of women who want to do business only with other women and don't want to do any business with men under any circumstance.
Many of them are sexists and misandrists who want to discriminate against men and in favor of women.
Normally, these types of jobs like being a taxi or Uber driver would have a waiting list of drivers and the next person on the list regardless of whether they are a man or a woman would get the next call for a driver regardless of whether the caller is a man or a woman.
That is fair and eliminates any discrimination.
However, the new system means a man who is the next person on the waiting list is denied the next call if the caller wants a woman driver.
If that is going to be the case then I think the male driver should be given a reasonable portion of what the woman driver gets paid to compensate the male driver for having to give up his spot of being next on the waiting list.
Don't you agree?

Just for consideration, would it be okay for a male driver to refuse to give rides to female passengers (unaccompanied by men)?
What if a large percentage of male drivers refused to give unaccompanied females rides in their car, making it so that females had a much harder time finding rides and the cost per ride was much higher?

Using an app is the same as making a call.
The person wanting to be driven somewhere is contacting the company and informing the company that they need a ride somewhere.
