Taxi cabs were not nearly as ubiquitous as uber.

Remember the woman in New Orleans who was trying to seduce the cabbie into going inside her house and banging her. She was even showing him her goods….

Dude held off like a champ.

Saw a video of a male driver in (I think) New Jersey turning down a free blow job from a rider. I'm hoping he was playing for the camera and got his dome polished as soon as he shut it off.

How many lesbian women drive for uber? What’s the frequency of woman on woman sexual assaults in uber vehicles compared to men on women?

That's pointless. Does it reduce the risk when the driver is women? Sure it does. I never stated otherwise. Are women 100% safe because the driver is a woman? No, they are not and I am not strange for pointing it out. In fact it could give women a false sense of security.

You said it’s pointless because you know the numbers would make you look stupid.

A woman’s roof could fall on her head at any moment. Do you want to go through other ridiculous hypotheticals while we’re at it?

Of course I do. But I’m also familiar with 7th grade math. Taxis and uber are essentially the same thing. So we should be able to extrapolate the number of women sexually assaulted in cabs in the pre uber era to the present era with “ubiquitous” uber availability. Yet I’ve never heard of this being a major issue before.

My female Uber driver was happy about it too.

Of course she was because she is making all the money from women who "feel" uncomfortable being alone with a man they don't know.

This is a psychological problem women have when they are around an heterosexual man who they are not sexually attracted to.

They don't have the same psychological problem when they are around a man who is a stranger but who is obviously gay.

That's why heterosexual women have no problem working with a gay man but they "feel" uncomfortable working with an heterosexual man.

They "feel" uncomfortable around an heterosexual man because they "feel" like the heterosexual man is always looking at her like she is a sexual object of desire, whereas, they know a gay man isn't doing that.

Well that's not what's being discussed now is it? If you want to conversate, it's good etiquette to stay on the topic.

Its pointless because I never made the claim that women had more to fear from women uber drivers than men uber drivers. I am sorry my accurate statment about lesbians triggered you. So much so that you had to make my post about something i never said. Are you a lesbian? I thought you were a guy.

This is as dumb as complaining about women-only gyms.

My 89 year old mom was raped by a 19 year old black man. I'm uncomfortable around most men I don't know, especially foreign men.

Heterosexual male rapists are going to rape women whenever and wherever they have the chance..

Should all heterosexual men not be allowed to be alone with women they don't know because of that fact?

How so?

A lot of decent heterosexual men are being denied an opportunity to make some money because of this Uber policy.

No, they aren’t. They can still drive for uber. They’re independent contractors that are chosen or not chosen based on a customer’s preference. Why do you hate the free market?

What?

Even small towns have uber now. If you’re in a city of above 50,000 people you can find an uber within 5-10 minutes. There areally 1.5-2 million registered ride share drivers as of 2026.

Only major cities had large scale taxi cab services 20 years ago.

False but also irrelevant. They’re the same thing. You pay someone to drive you from one place to another. There wasn’t rampant rape in the taxi industry before and there likely isnt one now.

Unless something has changed and whoever is driving Ubers now are much more prone to rape women than taxis drivers were a generation ago. Either that or most of these women are full of shite and there isn’t really a huge rape problem with Uber.

How old are you?

False

Either you’re very old or being obtuse. It wasn’t that long ago that in New Orleans pre-uber you’d wait 30 mins to an hour for a taxi to reach you in non-FQ New Orleans.
