One thing is for sure. She'll pretend to be a victim, within the next week. At this very moment, she's being informed by several aspiring comedians, on social media, that she's a fat, carrot top looking, piece of shite, that should probably kill herself.

She'll end up with a gig on MSNBC or CNN.

She hit hard on every women close to Trump. She barely hit on any democrats and only one not so hard hit on HRC. It's the complete and utter bias and the crudeness displayed towards the republicans. Really the shtick is getting OLD, REALLY OLD and BORING! The proof is that she did not garner the laughs she had hoped for. Just Stop!

I think she crossed the line, but that’s what comics are supposed to do.

So gay jokes, and black stereotype jokes were the norm during Obama's term at the WH Correspondents Dinner? How about jokes about Michael Obama really being a man, or maybe how Obama was relieved that all his daughter was blowing at that party was a joint?

Any of that happen?

Look, a-hole, you repeatedly asked in this thread what were the exact quotes that were considered offensive.

Now that I've quoted Wolf, you think I'm melting over it. I'm not. I gave you what you asked for. Those quotes are the ones the national media is saying went over the line. It's not just my opinion.

The mistake you made was taking the prick’s bait.

He repeatedly asked “what was over the line?”. The fact of the matter is, Michelle Wolf could’ve gone up to the dais, produced a .38 snub nose and shot SHS point blank in the forehead and Decatur wouldn’t have considered it out of bounds.

Now am I being hyperbolic? Yeah. A bit. But you get my meaning.

I really don’t see the big issue with this comedian taking shots at Sanders. She’s a big girl and a public figure to boot.

Some are treating this though like this comedian slapped a special ed student.

"hey... did anyone see Gorilla with a penis walking around earlier? Oh... wait.. that was just the first lady."

I'm sure that would have gone over splendidly when Obama was president. They'd have probably shut the dinner down right then and there and removed the "comedian" from the premises and brought up some sort of hate crime charges.

What if she did it on 5th Avenue?

I get that he WHCD has an element of roasting to it, but normally the roasting was in good fun like the Dean Martin Roasts and even previous WHCD's, this one was not in good fun, it gave the press and "comedians" an opportunity to in an acerbic manner, insult a person gratuitously

Then these comedians justify themselves by saying...." but I'm a comedian....?????!!!!!!"

Interesting take from Red State

Don't agree completely but makes a great point in regards to how WHCA acted from '08 to '16

quote:

However, the WHCA and their speakers haven’t really done their job since 2008. It’s never really okay to be okay with the people in power, and it is a real shame that the media by and large abdicated this role with rare exception from 2008 to 2016.

I’ll never be overly mad that the media covers a certain story. They can pursue what they want. I’ll never be mad at a comedian for telling a certain joke. That’s their job.

But, it is okay to be mad that there is a double-standard. That’s where a lot of the frustration comes in. A few in the media seemed to have realized it this weekend, but many still won’t, believing that, even when they win elections and win power, the Republicans are the evil counter-culture they must stand up to.

If journalism ever wants to know why it’s struggling on the national level, they should really rethink that mentality.

They'd probably have some ground to stand on if they didn't celebrate the words and actions of the President, and even turned those words and actions into a virtue in their support of him.

I mean, there were campaign shirts out there that said "frick Your Feelings", and now many of them want to cry foul when someone says things that may have hurt someone's feelings. It's bad faith politics at its worst.

You really think that's on the same level as "she makes eye make-up from the ashes of burned facts"?

That kind of stuff never outraged anybody around here, anyway. There was 8 years of it, and it still goes on.

But tell a fat girl she's fat and the real sky screamers out themselves.
