taking a shot at Trump

I don't mind the pron star comment at all, Trump was dumb in his attacks and think either one attacking is what the left was hoping for.

It's calling what is happening in NY "not an issue" is where I have a problem.

This should be an issue for everyone. Fricking political persecution/prosecution should trigger every professed patriot. Especially Ron D who is looking to jump into the Presidential fray.

Quite frankly this should bother every American no matter their political persuasion.

If his full statement is different than what is being quoted I will stand corrected. I will look for it now.

RDD added the term "alleged."

I'm seriously of the opinion that something so completely unprecedented and outside the bounds of how we historically operate as a republic, warrants any possible similar response in kind.

I mean, why the frick not, at this point?

Let's say RDS "fought extradition" (which he cannot) and won (which he cannot), then Trump could never leave Florida ever again.

Do you think Laura Loomer is a paragon of truth telling?

I don't think I know what the exact issue is, or if its valid.

As of now, nothing has happened.

I understand where you are coming from, but the context of the question was whether or not he would "aid" in the "extradition" of Trump from FL, over a publicity stunt from a Manhattan DA, without knowing any of the facts concerning the supposed case. People are foaming at the mouth for him to respond to a media story, and the track record for the veracity of similar media stories about Trump is god awful.

dishonest takes.

Winner winner.

Just remember that if Ron waits until 2028 the Only Trump brigade will suddenly jump onboard Ron's bandwagon and ignore that they've claimed he's owned and operated by the WEF and Soros.

It's all bullshite. It's always been bullshite. Ron had a good take here. I can see it and I'm a Trump supporter. But that doesn't make me anti-DeSantis. I'm fine with either one.

Well you know what maybe Trump shouldn't have been relentlessly attacking DeSantis for the last three months insulting him, misstating his record, insulting his wife who was battling cancer, and called Ron a groomer.....for no good reason other than Ron might run.

You guys were all cheering it on and loving every minute. Yet you get bent out of shape when Ron doesn't run to his defense. DeSantis called out Alvin Bragg for what he is and also pointed out Trump is an idiot paying hush money to porn stars.

It's really not DeSantis' concern and maybe if Trump hadn't acted like such an a-hole maybe Ron might be more inclined. There really isn't anything anyway Ron can do about it as he can't control the DA in NYC except call it out which he did. But if you think Ron owes Trump a fricking thing at this point after what he has been doing, you are delusional.

This is the problem with Trump is that he ends up feuding and falling out with everyone

Trump has been name calling a guy not even declared for months and now the guy is supposed to put politics aside?

This is really a hilarious take... It's text book crybully behavior.

DeSantis addressed the issue...out of control DAs using their offices and political weapons. He did not, however, run to defend Trump personally...this he's weak.

Very good points and I appreciate it.

I am trying to be open minded towards both candidates. I hate the attacks Trump has done towards RD and called him out for it several times here.

I hate the division because I feel the media and the left are admiring their work when it happens. I guess the two sides will bang it out until the primaries at the very least.

Trump excoriates Desantis including personal attacks on his wife for months, for no other reason than he sees someone as a threat to their power

Trump fans: Hahaha! Awesome

Desantis doesn’t breathlessly rush to Trumps defense over something that hasn’t even happened yet

Trump fans: “aaaaarggh he’s a cuck! A threat to the republic!”

These people are fricking loons

Why?

That's just dumb and would make anyone who would try look extremely dumb.

You fight the case where it's filed. You can't do much if you're in another area. Besides, I imagine Trump is going to just go process and may even be in NY right now.

Wait what?

You think RDS can stop a prosecution in NYC? How?

DeSantis certainly didn’t respond like an America First fire breather……DeSantis had a fastball right down the middle and stared it by into the catcher’s mitt.

Huge mistake, missed opportunity.

I wouldn't have a problem with it even if Ron made a blatant dig. Trump opened up the cheap attacks. I wish Trump would have taken a different approach, but whatever.
