Because their anti Christian atheism just relates to their Progressivism. Without being progressive, they'd have a different view.

Lol. 99% of the Palestinians hate Israel and want to annihilate them; they hide these evil animals and support them. They are the ones who want to ethnically cleanse Jewish people off the face of the earth. They are the ones shooting missiles indescribably into Israel killing innocent people; cutting the heads off of babies. What do you say to the Palestinians?

I had a friend like you. He blamed Christians for not intervening in the Rwandan genocide and subsequently gave up his faith in God over this.

The problem with this lack of thinking is that you want someone else to fix the world's problems. God made you to fix it. Stop blaming other people.

People die in war.. unfortunately it is unavoidable. Especially when the terrorist use your living room to carry out attacks on others while forcing you to stay in the house. What would you have the others do?

In WWII there was wholesale bombing of cities.. millions of people died on both sides.

Israel is planning on a ground attack on Hamas and block to block fighting. The air attack was aimed at specie Hamas targets. Hamas has much of its leadership housed in buildings adjacent to or actually
Housing civilian families. They use ISIS- like tactics in this and other ways.

It's important to note that in the Jewish religion, the New Testament is not recognized as scripture. Therefore, there is no directive to "turn the other cheek." This is how the God of Abraham instructed them to handle situations such as this.

Samuel 15:1-3 Samuel said to Saul, “I am the one the Lord sent to anoint you king over his people Israel; so listen now to the message from the Lord. This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’”

I would think the idiot(s) would be those who voted for Hamas leadership. Do not get me wrong, of course they are not as idiotic as 81 million Americans.

There absolutely is.

And there has been for decades, these people chose Hamas, and chose to remain with Hamas.

If you were a thinking man, you'd be pissed at the people using Palestinians for human shields, not the ones fighting Hamas.

Yes, because surely these Hamas fighters will just fight you like the brave men they are and not use innocent women and children as shields. You liberals must have the most worn out sphincter muscles on planet earth with how often you have your heads planted up your arse.

Probably correct. The left loves to project Christianity on us and then tell us how we failed to measure uo to what they think the Bible says.

Not before you make your own judgment, right?

So the post is for Christians. And I would be happy to hear from other Christians about how exactly it is OK to indescriminantly take lives... without regard to the individual lives you take, from a NEW TESTAMENT perspective.

Your answer is above, although I believe God is the judge, and sent his son to teach us what we are being judged upon. God already made his judgment about people, sending his son gave the individual a chance to be saved.

If you are looking for a serious answer; my belief is that the Christian faith is very focused on the individual, rather than collective. Yes, there is a community aspect of worship, but the idea is that we, as individuals, are all flawed and a work in progress. Pointing at what others are doing is denying oneself the opportunity to bring himself closer to God. Focusing on problems outside your control denies the opportunity to control the ones you can. This is perhaps the most common theme in the Gospels.

The world is an ugly and confusing place, focusing on the evils is the pathway into darkness, faith in Jesus is the light. Trying to solve the worlds problems is not our role as individuals, living according to his teachings, holding ourselves the most accountable is truly the only way to effectuate change as a community.

Jesus didn’t come here trying to teach us to make the world a better place, he came to help us navigate a world that is inherently broken. We will all be wronged in our lives, how appropriate our reaction is during those times is between the individual and God

As the Lord said, he is inside each believer. Any person who considers themselves a follower of Christ but supports the indiscriminate killing of others, must answer for that to God.
