Will the “young voters get more conservative” continue to hold true?

I see polls in deep red states like Mississippi showing the 18-25 group supporting Biden at 61%.
Will that many people change their views in 15-20 years to make that group conservative majority? Or are we fricked in 20 years thanks to indoctrination

I've been amazed at how many formerly sane, staunchly conservative friends in their 40s have become radicalized over the past few years.

They’ll start getting paychecks and change their minds.

My 14 year old is allergic to any leftist ideas. There is hope

I’m 21. You can tell that the liberals in my age group are ignorant but understand that conservatives are the “smart ones” just not the popular ones. I don’t think they like being associated with millennial snowflakes but also understand it’s better to be that than looked at like Trump supporters are. I believe there will be a shift when they actually start looking at policy positions. These younger “liberals” are not Marxist and LGBTQAIFGHI fanatics like their older brethren.
ETA: Gen Z views the libs as the idealistic dumb ones but because we’re young, a lot of us would rather socially look dumb than “evil”. It’s just because young people are fricking stupid but will come around. It’s not like Millennials where conservatives are viewed as dumb AND evil.

In 1972, I was a senior in high school and Nixon ran against McGovern. A couple of us had turned 18, so we voted and asked them to vote McGovern. This was because the Vietnam War was still going and we didn’t want to be drafted. Nixon of course won, the war ended and so did the draft. 48 years later and most of us are Conservative Republicans, so there is hope for some of the younger voters. Some will be forever lost to the Dark Side. When they start paying taxes, their beliefs may change.

Indoctrination works.
Propaganda works.
When both are comprehensive and relentless, they work.
Our schools, universities, mass media, social media, hollywood, printed periodicals, the internet, television shows, musical stars - these are all radically and completely Leftist.
With that kind of equation, with your kids being indoctrinated from kindergarten through grad school - how delusional does one have to be to think that this will never have a permanent influence on the USA?
It's rational to conclude that this Indoctrination will be effective over the course of some generations.

I always thought it was getting out of school, getting that first paycheck, getting your first house, having kids, etc. were all mileposts on many young people's road to conservatism.
Now with incels living longer in their parents' home, not having real jobs, etc. I think the time frame is being lengthened for too many.

There are a few studies out that show the current generation is of the most conservative since WWII. My brother in law is in college and he claims there are many Republicans. You're seeing Trump polling at the highest percentage of Black and Latino for any republican presidential candidate in a long time.....possibly ever. The whole electorate is changing.

This was a great quote until the 90s and especially since. The term "liberal" as uttered by the great man looks nothing like modern progressivism. I long for the days when most democrats were liberals. Their views were silly and without logic, but only a few of them were outright socialist rioting nuts.

At 25, I was a college graduate working full time and had just bought my first home. I voted R then and still do. Guess I’ve always been a heartless bastard.

At 31, it’s been great to watch my old college friends who voted for Obama both terms.... graduate and enter the real world. Most are now conservatives. No amount of reasoning could convince them back in the day. Just took some life experiences to see through the indoctrination.
For the conservative Gen Z’ers, just keep gently pushing your friends along. One day quite a few are going to see the light. Never burn a friendship over a political difference.
