As you can imagine, they have protests planned:
Groups associated with July 4, 2026 protests:
Indivisible
50501 Movement
MoveOn
Women's March
ACLU
Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)
Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL)
AFL-CIO (some affiliated labor groups)
Human Rights Campaign (HRC)
League of Women Voters
Of these groups that organized major July 4 anti-presidential protests under Democratic presidents:
None, not a single one.

I'm gonna celebrate 250 by cupping my dog's ears saying "shhh, shhhhhhh, it's okay" for 4 hours straight like I do every 4th of July.
But dammit if that isn't American as shite. We are willing to put up with personal inconveniences for the overall freedom of the rest.

As posted several times.... I'm going to do my thing, enjoy family and friends, give thanks for the freedoms I enjoy and a special prayer for those that gave all for those freedoms.

Got my USA button down shirt ready to go. For me, July 4 has added meaning as a longtime friend who passed several years ago has a birthday on the date. A little country, a little remembering and a damn good time.
