When Biden says he will transition from oil, you hear lady moderator chime in with an absolutely deflated tone saying "why would you do that."

No, it was not a question. It was pure exasperation. It was a statement of "what the hell did you just do." Fortunately Beijing Biden doubled down and ran with his position. What a priceless moment

One other thing I'd like to point out. People keep calling this a gaffe. THIS IS NOT A GAFFE! This is a reveal. This is Biden saying precisely what he thinks and plans to do. People need to stop giving him this out by saying it was a freaking gaffe

Yep, it was obvious her "why would you do that?" was more of her asking "WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT?!?"

He just completely screwed the pooch and her genuine reaction was great

Trump masterfully kept handing him a shovel to keep digging deeper. You could tell trumps little quips quickly got under Joseph skin and Joe just double down on what he was saying. Trump hit him with that’s a big statement JoeAnd Joe followed up with yes it is a big statement

Joe's entire political career has been built by bullying opponents. This is done by adamently and steadfastly holding to a talking point, and allowing the media and democrat party to provide cover. His opponents often become unwilling to challenge him further because nothing good will come of it. In fact, due to the media, the opposite is usually true.

He had the perfect opportunity to say he's not going to eliminate the oil & gas industry. He could have simply said that he would like to see the country EVENTUALLY transition away from fossil fuels into renewable energy because it's better for the planet. However, he should have emphasized that he will never do that until it isn't a threat to national security AND we have a form of renewable energy that is viable.

I thought the moderator felt that some people might have gotten the wrong impression from his first answer and she was trying to lead him to say what I stated above.

Instead, he went all AOC and literally threatened the job of every worker associated with the oil & gas industry.

As I stated last night, I would have loved to have been in Biden's War Room to see the reaction of his handlers.

Funniest to me is when Trump called him on calling him Abraham Lincoln. “Where did that come from, I didn’t say they I was Abraham Lincoln” his tone was hilarious.

In the Trump/Whitlock interview, Whitlock ended the interview with a suggestion to Trump basically saying just let Biden talk and he will do all the work for you. I’m not saying Whitlock had some great revelation that nobody thought of and Trump listened to him. Trump’s strategy definitely changed some to allow Joe to speak uninterrupted bc the feeling was something like the oil thing was going to happen and it did more than a few times.
