This is such a stupid argument. Waste is waste. Cut from everywhere.

To bring it back to "free choice", you are free to quit your job and live high on the hog like the welfare queens you rail against. Methinks you won't like that too much, internet tough guy.

If you're such a good guy that cares about "children, the disabled, and the elderly" you are free to donate more of your income towards those causes. That's certainly more benevolent than taking my money from me?

The public is blaming federal workers for all the waste and fraud when it is Congress that approved all the spending.

Oh really… then explain this:

quote:

ICYMI: Administrator Lee Zeldin Announces EPA Found Billions of Dollars Parked at an Outside Financial Institution by Biden Administration

quote:

The discovery comes on the heels of a video released of a Biden EPA political appointee talking about “tossing gold bars off the titanic,” intentionally rushing to get billions of tax dollars out of the agency before Inauguration Day in a reckless attempt to avoid oversight.

In the last couple of days, the Administrator also identified and cancelled a $50 million Biden-era environmental justice grant to the Climate Justice Alliance and announced that the agency would not be renewing nearly half a million dollars in media subscriptions to Politico and its subsidiaries.

You weak minded prick. Don't be so gullible. No benefits have been cut. Just federal employees...new ones....ones on probation.

When you have evidence someone lost a dollar in benefits, post it. Until then, stfu.

You are only looking at payroll, look at the funds those departments are no longer spending. That’s were the real money is being cut.

I've been laid off 4 times from private sector jobs and no one gave a frick about me

Why should public sector workers be any different. They aren't entitled to jobs

If Doge magically cuts the federal workforce in half, it would shave off about 2-3 percent of federal spending.

Most every business highest cost is it's people.

Including military spending on shite like aircraft carriers and saying it's only x percent is disingenuous as frick.

But typical af as well.

Have you heard about the 360 year-old who is drawing social security?

Have you heard that there could possibly be trillions of dollars unaccounted for at Treasury?

I am in favor of both of these.

Cleaning up social security and trillions of unaccounted dollars at the treasury would substantial and tangible savings.

Firing a few hundred thousands federal employees is just political theater and and small change in the big scheme of things, all part of a script that sets up the one big beautiful bill with the beautiful stimulus package for rich sons of bitches.

I could have voted for Mickey Mouse and it would not have changed the outcome. What is your point? I will guess it goes something like this. “Bump stocks good trump evil”. You all are communists. DB hates everyone. The end.

Could you define “rich”? My biggest expense each year are income taxes and I’m not rich. If cutting the size of a wasteful and bloated government allows me to keep more of the income I work incredibly hard to warn, then I’m for it.

The truth is this. It all has to be cut. Trump controls the Executive branch. He is going to tell the American people all about the out of control spending and force congress to do their jobs.

This is what you fail to understand.
.2%+.4+.1+.3+1+.2+.4+.1+.3+1+.2+.4+.1+.3+1+.2+.4+.1+.3+1+.2+.4+.1+.3+1+.2+.4+.1+.3+1+.2+.4+.1+.3+1+.2+.4+.1+.3+1+.2+.4+.1+.3+1+.1=10% of federal spending.

Rinse and repeat until the budget deficit is gone.

"For example there's a giant veterans affairs medical complex a few counties over from here. It's the largest employer in the county."

Working for the government is supposed to be public service, not a career. The people who are moaning about their careers are just salty the gravy train is over. Maybe they should move to Europe, who also thinks they are entitled to taxpayer money

Gutting the agencies is not to just save on salary cost. If they have no people, they cannot dish out the cash. How are the illegals going to get their hotel checks if you fire the person giving them the check?
