I want that shite repealed ASAP! Trump said he would do it almost immediately. I hope he lives up to that promise.

He can't repeal it by fiat or EO. That's Congress' job.

Because Congressional Republicans are scared of the implications of it right now.

Secret is the GOP doesn't want to repeal Obamacare.

Notice they voted over and over to repeal it when they knew Obama would veto?
Notice that the GOP House never cut funds to Obamacare?

Yep. Look at the underbelly and don't believe what they say. It's pretty clear this is correct.

The Establishment GOP is scared to Death to repeal Obamacare. They don't want their re-election prospects endangered by taking away Freebies.

You should call your congressman and complain to him about it. Call your senators too.

The majority of Americans have no idea that the ACA and Obamacare are the same thing, and they also do not know what it covers, including expanded provisions in Medicaid. A lot of Trump supporters are going to be shocked at how much they are fricking themselves over with this.

There are multiple logical reasons it's not repealed at the very moment.

1. Trump can't repeal it himself; Congress will have to work Trump signing off.

2. I don't going it matters whether it's repealed now or later in the year; the changes won't impact the current year's plans.

3. To the second point, we saw the negative effects of rushing the legislation without enough consideration. Congress and the administration would be wise to not do the same in the repeal, and you know, actually conceive a practical solution.

They are acting like they read the bill for the first time in January. It's not like they haven't had years to come up with a plan.

I hate this mindset. It's a major problem with government. It's instant gratification without careful consideration of the consequences, both in a constantly changing environment, and the future

He doesn't have a bill yet, and there are at least 2 other Republican plans on the table.

Obamacare took nearly a year to draft. Repealing it and replacing it will take at least that long.
