thanks for the explanations...lots of things I hadn't thought of and make sense.

Trump did NOT tell people to drink bleach by the way to the poster who wrote that. Do your research. He was asking if there was a way the doctors could inject "disinfectant" directly into the lungs to kill the virus...not completely idiotic because many times doctors pour antiseptic/disinfectant directly into open wounds so he wass wondering if there was a way to do that internally. I don't know how a person would hear "drink bleach' out of that.

This isn't the hill to die on. Insurance first, then the agency responsible, then the Feds will pick up the vast majority of the balance.

If the Feds only printed money for shite like this, no one would complain.

ETA With graft this is $3 billion, easily.

Takes too much time. Need a group organized to git' her done ASAP. It could actually impress a stupored populace who thinks the US is incapable of doing anything big, anymore.

It’s insane what Trump has done to some of you.

And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning, because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it’d be interesting to check that, so that you’re going to have to use medical doctors with, but it sounds interesting to me. So, we’ll see, but the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute. That’s pretty powerful."

In 2002 a barge hit and collapsed a span of I-40 bridge over Arkansas river in my area. Granted it was only a 580 foot span, but it was rebuilt in six months ( if memory is correct). 11 killed along with 16 injured.

It's a federal interstate roadway.

Shouldn't the shipping company have INSURANCE?
for taking out a bridge...no, they dont. That bridge was built in 1977 for 110 million, I dont know todays dollars but I would bet that is 500 million or more. They aint covered for that.

While this is true or at least should be insurance and ship owner will probably take time. It will most likely go to court. It is beneficial to get started on the project immediately. This will only be done with money printed by the feds.

It's a federal owned bridge so lets print some money and get started.

Throw some Is and Os in some accounts. Send them to some businesses. Problem solved. We'll collect from those responsible companies later ... if there is a later.

Baltimore is one of the most corrupt cities in the nation. This will end up lining the pockets of those writing the checks.

The shipper is part of a $3bn reinsurance pool. There will also be other parties brought in, such as the shipbuilder and anyone that may have done faulty servicing.

But all that will take years to sort out and the total cost may well go beyond the policy limits. This bridge needs tk be fixed NOW and then the govt can go back to collect insurance.
