Why exactly are they rioting in Portland and Seattle?

Minneapolis - obviously the catalyst to the nationwide riots. Burned it to the ground.. mission accomplished.
Atlanta - put the spin job on Rayshard Brooks. They did their thing. Pretty sure it’s been over for a while
New York - liberal shithole gonna liberal shithole. Even they didn’t tolerate it (somewhat) and contained it with curfews and other actions.
I believe Washington DC and other areas have had off-and-on protests.
What are Portland and Seattle even rioting for? Both of these are very progressive, morally upright cities, so do they not have a handle on their racism? Are they protesting the Democrat leadership in their cities which has caused them to be festering crime-ridden piles of shite? Why are the riots raging on in these places when most of the nation is under control by now?

Because it rains 9 months out of the year and this is the only outside time they get. They will stop once the rains start in late August/early Sept.

They're primarily attacking Federal monuments and the courthouse in Portland. Seattle rioters are attacking anything that they somehow twist into being racist on not anti-racist enough. Then, there's a certain faction that just gets off of destruction and don't really need a reason.

I'm not sure that they are really protesting anything specific at all. One thing I can make some logical sense of in Seattle is how residents claim the city has gone way downhill with drugs and homelessness for the past 5 years. I noticed some banner or something someone put online requesting that the "defund police" money go towards that cause in a round about way with some sort of community uprising. It also appears the 20's something age crowd in Seattle hate the police in general. Maybe most of them have had some sort of traffic citation, it pissed them off, so they hate the police now?
Case in point, the party's Seattle protesters would have in the middle of the night on a busy interstate. It's the middle of the night, the interstate is closed for them specifically, they are just standing around hanging out in the interstate. Who is really going to notice or receive their message of what they are protesting? Seems to me like it's just a bunch of odd-ball young people, homo's, smart allecs, people that want gender changes, people that think they are owed everything, people who've never had many friends, rallying together behind a slogan "black lives matter" not b/c they give 2 shits about racism or George Flowers, but it's an idea they can all pretend to have in common with each other and therefore have something to talk about.
