Why don’t rich conservatives do what Soros does, but for good causes?

Where are all the conservative organizations and donors?
Posted on 10/19/21 at 11:11 am to loogaroo
Because they want to live their lives and not try and take over the world

Partially because when conservatives do it, they end up covered 24/7 on MSM as if they're out and out Nazis.
I'm no fan of them today, but just contrast coverage of the Koch brothers under Bush with coverage of Soros today.
Hell. I'll bet you that even today, a higher percentage of Americans know who the Koch brothers are than who know who Soros is.

Conservatives aren't tyrannical and typically don't desire power at that level. They also follow the rules.... or tend to...and even if they don't typically have much higher propensity for actual guilt.

This exactly! The notion to do what Soros does is joined at the hip with the tactics his warped ideology employs.

Most elites have been fricked into the pedo cult so they are discouraged from helping the commoners.

Main reason they are known in my neck of the woods is that they bought one of the local paper mills then ran it into the ground through bad decisions, finally cutting most operations.

Not for power, but for good causes. Maybe back a moral just DA to oppose some these Soros backed ones.
I guess there aren’t many who want the positions.

Because when conservatives do this there is a hue-and-cry from the left and the MSM publicly shaming these people. Then Democrat members of Congress start to bloviate about money in politics, call for "investigations, and effectively ruin the lives of these conservative donors.

I think some do but the news doesn’t praise them like the left .

I was thinking more along the lines of why don’t rich conservatives employ some retired tier one operators and somethin somethin....(don’t want the ban hammer again)

Probably because if conservatives created agitprop groups.. those groups would immediately be targeted by government agencies.
It doesn't matter how much money someone gives out, if the government is going to target those groups, and take that money away.
Soros funded agitprop groups like Indivisible are allowed to pop up all over the country.. and recruit...because there's no government interference.
Conservatives can't even have shitty little militias without being targeted by gov.

No such thing as a rich limited government conservative donating to government in order to advance freedom, that would work against their money and power.

If they would fund black ops to off Soros and his son... that would be money better spend for the entire world.

Peter Thiel is the only one who comes to mind

I'll guarantee you that easily 70% of Americans STILL have no idea who Soros is.
Let some conservative do what he does and it's 24/7 vilification on the MSM to the point that your average fry cook uses their name every time he wants to bitch about Republicans.

That’s a passive ethos. It’s not sustainable.

And, it impacts their effectiveness to a far greater degree.
This goes for pretty much anyone in the public eye taking overt conservative positions. Doing so as a liberals means you will be getting rhetorical lap dances for as far as the eye can see. As a conservative, the second you decide to do it, you can go ahead and make a list of all the shite you can no longer do.
