Why doesn’t the fbi record its interviews? (Like in Flynn case?)

Wouldn’t it be an important step to prevent FBI agents potentially lying about interviews if fbi rules required all interviews to be recorded?

Why do you think the Feds have a 97% conviction rate? Procedural rules that screw over criminal defendants and authoritarian bootlickers as judges.

FBI never records interviews, they take notes then write a 302 summarizing the interview.

I don’t believe they record any interviews.

Since they are not particularly honest in their recall of interviews and it is proven now; what is to prevent the interviewee from having a small recorder in his/her pocket to protect himself/herself?

Do they search you?

This is proof positive why someone should never be interviewed without their attorney present.

Ask convicted Insurance Comm Jim Brown how he feels. The agent he was interviewed by took notes and they would not produce them. He was convicted on the 302 and agent testimony. You lie if they say you lie. Don’t talk to the Feds, ever.

If the fbi recorded interviews, it would be much more difficult for them to lie.

In my time with the DOJ I’ve seen and heard agents record interviews, the interviews not go well for them, and the agents then...in process...deciding to stop recording the interviews. It never happened.

100% truth.

I hope people are awakening to this. It isn't just the top of the FBI that are scum. From top to bottom they're scum. Your average FBI agent and US Attorney with the DOJ is a power-hungry sociopath who'd fit right in with the plot of American Psycho.

It’s hard to film an interview when the subject of that interview doesn’t even know he’s being interviewed

When you make the rules, the last thing you want is real evidence. I will never voluntarily talk to the FBI without an audio/video recording that I control. Fortunately, the FBI has 0 interest in my existence.

The times I had to talk to the ATF and FBI they must have thought I was a moron. Remembered nobodies name and qualified everything I sort of remembered.

Now that I'm getting more contrary I wouldn't swear to my date of birth. "That's the day they told me. I was too young to be sure."

I meant it as a slight to the FBI dumb frick

Flynn didn’t know he was being “interviewed” because Stzrok never told him it was one. He was under the impression they wanted to talk to him as people on the same side not as two FBI agents setting a perjury trap

Because the FBI is corrupt. They take all of their notes in pencil so that they can erase shite, there is not a pen in the building!

As a general rule don’t talk to police/feds without a lawyer present and a camera rolling.
