It's either an epic troll job or they just don't give a shite. Either way it's hilarious.

Well. He was at the center of the biggest police scandal of all time, so he's an expert.

Yeah but they treat him as just a police contributer and never bring up any of his shady past. He even debates people live on air and it's very cringe-inducing but amazing.

He's an expert douche bag. He's the fuging poster child for racist cops targeting blacks.

It's a blot on Fox News, imo.

I still can't believe Judge Ito's wife lied about knowing him. Then he bashed her on those racist record tapes in NC. You couldn't put that in a movie and have anyone believe it.

I think in retrospect, most would admit that he ironically did his job in the OJ case. That said, I agree. Why even bother with him. Ratings, maybe?

People obviously love to be outraged.

Is that a joke? He single handedly destroyed the credibility of the investigation.

Strong bump. Watch OJ made in america. As a detective, in that specific case, his work was without reproach. It's acknowledged by many colleagues and attorneys today. The Asian CSI guy fricked up handling much of the evidence, but the initial detective work was good.

Furman got buried when an old audio tape, unrelated to the case, was played where he said some racist stuff. His character was destroyed, and if you recall, the entire defense was based on racist motivations.

I'd say that it is because he's probably the only cop with a household name. (Other than Axel Foley, Olivia Benson, and Dirty Harry )

If you think about it, how many cops would be recognizable on a national scale? Maybe that Sheriff from AZ, Apiro, or the black guy, Clark?

In 9th grade gym he said the "n word". I just wanted to bring that to the discussion.

Dude, he pled the 5th as to whether he planted evidence.

And it wasn't just some old audio, it was hours upon hours of expose material for a book, he admitted that they targeted and framed black men because we'll, they are n!&&@$....

He's a raging rasict pos and he is the main reason OJ walked.

And if I'm not mistaken he eventually pled out on perjury charges and lost his job.

I know all of that. My comment was that his detective work was good. They hung him on character. He said in earlier testimony that he never said the n word, then they brought out the tape. He pled the 5th so he wouldn't perjur himself on the n word testimony, and the defense (knowing he was pleading the 5th) asked about the planted evidence.

It was a set up at the trial, and a really good one. Again, his detective work was good, that's all I ever said. He never planted the evidence because oj did it, and admitted to his former agent that he did it years later.

this, although I'd say that "Brooklyn Jury" was more of the deciding factor. The asshat of a judge was just enabling.
