Secondly, I have not been unprofessional at all. I haven't cursed or anything along those lines. You just don't like what I have to post, but thats more of a you issue.

You are correct. I don't like what you post because it is inflammatory and unprofessional.
Being that I was in your shoes not long ago, I hold my colleagues (soon to be you) to a high standard. You are disrespecting our profession with your racial overtones in your posts which does nothing to bring us closer as a society. The role of a physician is of problem solver and that my friend is an honor and privilege.

OP is right. I saw Wolf Blitzer say during the Trayvon case that 90% of defendants used stand your ground as a defense in cases involving black assailants who were shot. He didn't mention that almost all of the defendants were also black. That was one of many examples. CNN has an agenda.

So let me get this strait. You have a problem with my sarcastic posts in this thread bc of their "racial overtones." Really? Do you not read this board? Its often a "vent and bitch about blacks" fest with more than just slight racial overtones. You think me sarcastically stating "it must be tough being white" is inflammatory? How about threads that state "I know blacks dont care about black on black crime" or "blacks only vote dem bc they need their handouts" etc etc. These threads are common place on this board, but my comparatively innocuous statement rubs you the wrong way. I am worried about you as you apparently are oblivious to the fact that the profession that you have chosen is not a job. Once again, I expect my colleagues to be exceptional even on message boards.
Society has placed its trust in you and I to rise above things of this nature and be objective at all times. What would happen if someone were to go through your post history and print out all the racial posts? Do you think the Dean would be pleased with his students posts? You represent more than yourself. White people don't play the victim. We don't have to. We just get pissed when we see ridiculous double standards that scrutinize and attack our behavior but excuse the exact same behavior when it is practiced by black people.
