https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2016/07/28/a-closer-look-at-the-gender-gap-in-presidential-voting/

This is research from Pew Research Center.

quote:

Differences in presidential voting between men and women largely parallel differences in party affiliation. In Pew Research Center data dating to 1992, women have been consistently more likely than men to identify as a Democrat or lean toward the Democratic Party. Over the first half of 2016, 54% of women identify with or lean toward the Democratic Party, compared with 42% of men. In 2008 and 2000 – the last two presidential elections with no incumbent candidate – there was a similar difference between men and women in Democratic affiliation.

Because women are emotion driven, much like the Democratic party over the last 10-15 years. They prey on feelings and emotions.

Women are ruled by their emotions while men are more logic based.

More emotional and susceptible to superficial issues. That's the entire Democrat appeal.

i think mindset matters. emotional rhetoric of the DEMs likely plays to more women than men, due to their nature

also the DEMs are more likely to support a system that gives advantages to women via legislation/policy

and abortion alone likely sways a solid chunk

Tons of social behavior science that answers this question. Women are wired differently. This country took a sharp left turn when women got to right to vote.

Party of beta, emotions and confusion, that’s enough, shut the thread down.

i almost didn't put the "emotional" stuff b/c i knew that would dominate the responses

but even then, it's still true. for a recent example, i bet if they broke down the swings with gun control beliefs by sex, women would have much larger swings (traditionally, gun control dies down in quiet times and ramps up when a major shooting is proliferated by the media, so you can see the drastic shifts in real time)

but ignore all that and just focus on the reality that the country is split about 47-48% on both sides pretty hard in their partisan camps. it won't take that many wedge issues for those in the middle to shift, so very simple things like laws that given women legal advantages over men and abortion are sex-tailored policies for that 4-6% middle area

This has been a well known fact since biblical times.

Women, in general, are both socially and fiscally liberal.

Never was it proven more true than during the American suffrage movement and never has it been proven more destructive to a nation than simply witnessing the results of women being granted the right to vote in this country.

It was, of course, inevitable ... but there is no denying when the decline began.

BINGO.

Any intelligent woman can see that the left is not their friend.

Well, the emotional component of the Prog/Dim ideology is the foundational principle that their madness is built on.

There is a huge distinction between married and unmarried women in all polling data.
