Why do women feel Sweeney is over-sexualizing their achievements in sports?

Should Congress weigh in? I saw the ad and it is strong. Of course Sweeney has a female body that is beautiful and should be appreciated. But women in sports are going nuts with comments. It appears this ad is getting a lot of views.

What would be their response if a man claiming to be a woman were the spokesperson in the ad?

quote:

Palmateer was one of many female athletes to criticize the campaign.

“Just absolute utter disbelief, incredibly disappointing, like, how far you can put women’s sports backwards in the space of a 42-second commercial,” she said to CNN, adding that the campaign “is very damaging, especially for young females getting into sport, for females in sport, for females in general, just hypersexualized content.”

“We want to be valued for what we can do, not what we look like,” Palmateer added.

Australian four-time Olympic swimmer Ariarne Titmus posted a response to the campaign on her Instagram stories.

“I wasn’t going to share this as I didn’t want to give this any more attention. But I can’t keep my mouth shut,” she said, according to CNN affiliate 9News.

“I can’t describe how infuriated I feel when I watch this,” Titmus wrote.

“Not only is this a kick in the face to every woman who has dedicated her life to perfecting her craft, but every woman who enjoys sports for what it really is — teamwork, friendship, dedication, excellence, unity … the list goes on.”

Australian swimmer Lani Pallister was another of the athletes to hit back, posting a compilation video of her training and competing, with an overlay that reads: “Don’t know what Sydney thinks sport looks like, but THIS is what sport looks like.”

I saw the Ad and I could only think about my next bet.

Exactly. Valued by who? No man is ever going to appreciate what a woman can do when a man can do it so much better!!

Are women actually "good" at any sport?

Seriously?

I can't even watch them play tennis. It's so slow.

...and I'm talking about a legitimate sport.

1. Because she's white
2. She's fine af
3. Because she's not a purple hair , septum piercing, keffiyeh wearing liberal retard.

Men value beauty and we are hard wired to do so.

So when someone says that is wrong, it sounds anti-male.

She has classic feminine beauty and uses it to her advantage; it has been done since the dawn of time.

They should try not to be jealous and stay in their lane because she isn't commenting at all on women's sports; it is a commercial for betting.

I never could dunk but seeing her up there would make me try harder...

Look up the women complaining, and you will see where the anger is coming from.

The envy emanating from these broads who could never even hope to approach Sydney’s level of fine has been really entertaining to watch.

In another decade, reality should set in regarding their achievements, with almost all understanding what worked for centuries needs to be turned back on.
