They believe they will be saved in the rapture, so they want the end of days to happen as soon as possible.

I'm just curious as to what part of their faith leads them to this. Typically, reverence for Israel is held by evangelical Protestants, who are almost entirely sola scriptura. The odd thing is that I don't find any justification or reasoning in the Bible that would lead to support of Israel.

It's the Holy Land. I love Israel and the Levant in general. Our history is there. Why are you anti-semetic, OP?
