Let’s see:
-war in the Middle East.
-squandering a majority house and senate only to compromise with Ted Kennedy for the no child left behind bill.
-expansion of govt with the dept of homeland security.
-biggest intrusion of privacy by govt in the name of fighting terrorism.
-spent like a democrat.
-accelerated the ascension of China and the erosion of our jobs in the name of free markets.
George bush was a big govt cuck who governed like a GOP establishment candidate no different than McCain or Graham.

Why would we thank him for creating a fake war in which thousands of Americans died or were damaged physically and mentally.

For those too young to remember, he was better than his dad. George, Sr. just wanted to get along with the press and the Dems. He dissed Reagan with 'kinder gentler adm'.
He wasn't. He at least knew to get out of Iraq and leave Sadam in place. We just spent 1.9 trillion to do Iran a favor.

Are you serious? Bush was horrible. Dragged us into Iraq war, massive expansion of government surveillance, Patriot Act, horrible immigration policy, etc.
You know what is funny? These Bush era RINOs (Lincoln Project) have now aligned themselves with the democrats. They were never conservative to begin with.

Obama came in out of nowhere and he came in very fast. Like a thief in the night.

I think about George W. Bush every time I see a disfigured/permanently crippled service member on a Wounded Warrior commercial.

Republicans who do that are on par with the left who praise Wilson or FDR.

Did you wake up from a 22 year coma?

Look at all of the jobs Bush created and all that he did for education.

Threads like this really help me.
In the early 2000’s, I was a young conservative against the war and against Bush. Damn near ever “conservative” I met called me an “America Hater” before they slapped a “W - The President” sticker on their car.
By the time 2008 rolled around, I gave in and considered myself a...liberal. It wasn’t until 2016 and after that I felt at home again as a conservative.
