Some of them, sure. But not all of them.

WAPO on Portland OR protests.

Throughout the afternoon, police posted Twitter pictures of items they confiscated from the demonstrators. It’s not clear whom they came from, but police and local media said some weapons were taken as officers cleared Chapman Square, a park where antifa activists had gathered.

I guess his native tongue wouldn't have been as effective for the 'cis scum' tattoo.

Bigger question. Why is every politician, including the president silent about this group? I've yet to hear one word uttered by a politician on any level that has called this group out by name. Why are they all acting as if ANTIFA does not exist or is not showing up again and again creating havoc?

I can only assume someone verified the counter - demonstrators, including the young woman who was nurdered, were Antifa. Is there an Antifa I.D. card?

Maybe. They cover their faces and act like twats. Dropping their brick pieces and safety scissors in the park is certainly a possibility.

But is it safe to say that no one is "allowing" weapons at these protests?

Of course there is. It's right down the street from the office where you to to get your Alt-Right and White-Nationalist ones.

There's no logic in reacting emotionally when law enforcement authorities display a double standard when it comes to policing ANTIFA versus policing any Pro-Trump groups, such as a Tea Party Rally.

ANTIFA will always have a rather protected status and will never be policed as strictly as any Pro Trump or conservative group.

This is simply what it is. It won't change. In fact, it might get worse.

You all know what I have predicted what will happen in 100 years or so. I haven't changed my prediction.

God Bless the USA.

Why are they allowed to cover their faces? They are a known violence loving mob. There is no law about wearing a mask and carrying a weapon, but the context changes that. You can wear a mask and carry a weapon...but see what happens if you wear a mask and carry a weapon into a bank or police station.

Actually, in a lot of municipalities, there are laws on the books about this in public. They usually carve out exceptions for things like Halloween and Mardi Gras in places that celebrate it.

As it should be. There is no rational reason to be against a standard like that...just like there is no rational reason to be against voter ID. Both aid in identification if needed.
