They can, they may be fired for it but they can do it.

Ok. So are you advocating for limiting people expressing their opinions even when not at work? We have come full circle.

The strangest thing about all of this tomfoolery is the fact that if these plebs bitching about the NFL went and protested at their job, and they weren't fired or fined or reprimanded, nobody would give it the first thought

I couldn't give a shite if I tried

I have a better question, why do some government employees think they can have their own private email server and use that server to send and receive classified/SAP documents?
Wow, thank you so VERY much for injecting that issue into this discussion. I cannot think of ANYTHING more relevant to the NFL protests.

The players are unionized. Does the collective bargaining agreement they have allow these acts or not? It’s a contracts issue. Not an emotional one.

This is a simple fact that seems to be lost on our President and his legion of followers

His regular presence in the NY court systems would tend to indicate that Trump has never felt particularly constrained by contracts.

Is that a legitimate excuse to act like children?

May not be absolutely relevant to the OP but it's an illustration of things you can't do on the company/government clock........, unless you're the "chosen one". As a matter of fact in the big scope of things you can't do at work, I would say having private email servers is right at the top up the list just under murdering coworkers.

I am genuinely curious as to what I could have posted that would have given you even the slightest indication that I advocate for limiting people expressing their opinions.

Make my day.

The simple fact of the matter is you’d be a hell of a lot easier to replace than an NFL player, plus your employer wouldn’t have to suffer any bogus “racism” backlash.

Agreed. But NFL players make money BC of fans and customers/Sponsors. If they piss them off or affect their bottom lines, they will not patronize.

Papa John's dude simply said the n-word in conversation as a topic. Not as a name call. Not directed at any single person. Free speech. Boom. Dropped from HIS OWN company. Erased from Sponsorship.

Your wife hit the elusive double wham-slam...
Cuck at work and home both.
What did she protest on work time, if you don't mind me asking?

Why do folks think their cubicle job is like that of a pro athlete?

Millions of people can do what you do. There are about 5000 pro athletes in the four major sports in the US. You’re expendable...them, they’re physical geniuses, therefore, less so.
