It’s segregation all over again. Pass that shite and watch public schools deteriorate. They will come back to the bargaining table once private schools are busting at the seems. I don’t know why we resist what that really want or ask for. Give in to it. Let it happen.

They don’t need CRT for that. The educational standards have been lowered to the point that a public school education is a joke.

Could not possibly disagree more. You're only looking at the surface.

CRT is racial Marxism.

From Critical Race Theory; An introduction

quote:

Unlike traditional civil rights,
which embraces incrementalism and step-by-step progress,
critical race theory questions the very foundations of the liberal order, including equality theory, legal reasoning, Enlightenment rationalism, and neutral principles of constitutional law

This IS a hill to die on.

CRT is racist to the nth degree.

I want my tax dollars spent on Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, not Marxism.

Have you not learned the principle of the slippery slope?

You cannot allow CRT.

Jesus guy, is that what you really think? You think the people pulling these politicians strings is as dumb as they puppets they command? They want to segregate and deteriorate the schools and society to the point of where they constantly have a submissive, peasant minded class. And the way you get a nation on their knees just begging to turn over their freedom in exchange for safety or the fix for whatever problem they create. Is make things so fricking bad they'll do whatever you want.

Read a fricking book. Hell research on how Russian, Venezuela and Cuba found themselves in the predicament seemingly overnight.

You've already been given several good reasons why. Here's one more. While you're waiting for the schools to deteriorate even more, how many little children will have been taught in school to hate themselves or to hate other people, just because of skin color? I don't want that for my kids or my grandkids.

Equality theory is equity theory, they’ve recently admitted it
Legal reasoning is laws are racist
Enlightenment rationalism is woke victim-ism
“Neutral” principles of constitutional law I would pay good money to hear the gymnastics in person

You must be referring to Alabama because if you spent a few days in some public schools in LA you’d question how it could deteriorate more

It’s more than segregation. Look into a bit.

everyday my son played with his best friend for years. they went to different schools but they were close. his family were very good people, hard working but low income. a fews years ago a dark cloud came over the child. he started talking about some of the things he was learning, field trips he was taking. i gathered he was being taught crt but i had no idea how extreme things had gotten. he kept getting these far away looks. his dad talked to me about his growing behavior problems and anger. he just drifted and soon he started to see the skin color difference with my son. their friendship faded. i've bumped into his father and his anger has just grown, difficulties. i don't think these programs are designed to give children strength, just bitterness and rage. he was a good kid, i think they broke him.

You should probably investigate before you give in. I’d suggest researching the 1619 project.

You’ll change your mind quickly.

Kinda answered your own question, champ.

Any strategy that is based on losing so bad that end up inadvertently becoming a winner is silly.

Most people can't afford private school. Now, imagine the majority of the population being taught CRT.

CRT is is Marxism. It’s just rebranded Critical Theory, but instead of dividing people by class, they do it by race. This is why people who say diversity is our strength are full of shite. It’s a massive weakness that can be exploited

I’ve thought about this recently. Younger kids think they are so much more smart and enlightened. The reality is that education has gotten so bad, this is undoubtedly untrue. Yes, as a whole, a small group of really intelligent people have progressed our society as a whole, but on an individual basis, kids are dumber than ever. They are being taught meaningless material that does nothing but degrade our society. I’m 37.

I really want to see homeschooling take off. I grew up thinking it was for weird kids, but it has advanced tremendously over the years. Kids who do this score way higher on standardized tests. They can still participate in clubs and sports. If I had a family I would really consider this
