Just looking over the lawsuit against Texas where black students are calling a song racist when that song is not at all racist. Couldn't an Asian or Native American or even a white student make the same claim that HBCU is a bit racist and hostile toward them?

You know I'm starting to suspect there may be a few double standards at play when it comes to race in this country.

Why are they allowed to be called historically black colleges and universities?

Prob because that's what they are?

Facts don’t matter, only feelings…try to keep up.

If anyone is offended or feels threatened by the term HBCU, then it MUST go.

And later saved, through permanent funding, by an orange guy.

My question is this: if black students feel that a song that originated 100 years ago and makes no allusions to race creates a hostile environment, wouldn't a non black student at a school deemed historically black consider that hostile?

One of my son’s played baseball for an HBCU and was awarded an athletic scholarship and an academic scholarship. He said when he went to his adviser’s office and as soon as the adviser looked up from his desk and saw he was white he said, “you must be a baseball player.”

If you’ll follow along below, you seem to be asking for objective, rational linear thinking to explain your understanding of another side’s view. I think that’s supposed to make you racist if I understand the concept of “here are some new rules, for some fricking reason. Just learn them, you racist” which seems to be the current accepted popular standard of how the world should or may work.

Hey, SUNO isn’t a degree mill.

You have to have people graduate to be a degree mill.

I love that document.

Apparently not allowing for CP Time is racist.

You if you missed the sarcasm, and the dipshits at the Smithsonian who came up with that graphic.

So can we go around touting HWCU’s now? I mean if it’s good for goose right?
