Because the bill is tied to a bunch of spending frickery that has zero to do with helping vets. If you think they blocked it to screw over vets you are a special kind of stupid.

Basically the way this works is if you want an order of french fries from the Democrats
then they need to be able to order a slab of ribs, filet mignon, pork chops, tofu, tiramisu, and a chocolate milkshake on the same ticket.
Now shut the frick up and enjoy your freedom fries.

Why don't you bother to research just a tiny bit before you form a stupid opinion about the bill?

Why are some republicans fighting the veteran healthcare bill?
Did you really have to have this board tell you why?

The bill has 300B in bloat. Why would a single republican vote for that? If it were just health care, it would already be passed.

If it's ALL it was for, no- brainer
We both know that's not the case.

screw the vets to own the libs. Its the only playbook the republicans have.

I'd like to add that Republicans got the assault weapons ban passed in the house.

You frickers are weak as shite.

Seems like the dems screwed the vets to own the republicans. We are going to pass a $400 billion bill that won’t help veterans and claim republicans hate veterans.
This is classic democrat tactics. They do it all the time.
They did it with covid.

What did they stuff it with?

What’s considered bloat in it?
Posted on 7/29/22 at 6:11 pm to JackaReaux
As veteran, they ain’t much to fight for, i was refused coverage even though I qualified, i question the VA and the cops was called and they arrived while i was leaving, the VA are actively disqualifying veterans and the coverage is highly restricted, with all due respect toward to the VA fk them

Why did they stuff it with anything? The clean bill passed with 84 votes in the senate. Why would Pelosi screw veterans by refusing to present the clean bill and instead change it?

"a budget gimmick that’s designed to allow hundreds of billions of dollars in additional unrelated spending, having nothing to do with veterans,"- Pat Toomey
"I support providing coverage to service members affected by burn pit exposure. Unfortunately, the bill as written includes an unnecessary provision that opens the door for more reckless government spending, unrelated to the VA. I voted no on cloture tonight to insist on having the ability to amend the bill to correct this."-Ron Johnson
