For me, the issue isn't trannies in and of themselves. The issue is the total destruction of truth.

It’s obviously a form of mental illness to believe that you were born the wrong gender. There are also mentally ill people out there that believe that they’re aliens from a different planet, neither one effects me in my everyday life

Maybe because Republicans have common sense. Common sense tells me that biological men do not belong in women's bathrooms or gym locker rooms, in women's sports, in women's beauty pageants, receiving women's scholarships, chosen as "woman of the year", etc. Common sense tells me that only biological women can become pregnant and give birth. I am offended by the Democrats using the term "birthing people". I am a mother, not a birthing person. Common sense tells me that there are only 2 genders. The Democrats want to force us to affirm a lie or be punished if we don't.
I don't care if someone is trans, but we should not be forced to pretend that they are a male or a female if they are not. And teaching children that this is normal should be illegal.

Both sides are good at distraction. The GOP seems to come up with some wild ones around election time.
No one really cares about the 0.05% of the Texas population who are trans or the 1 person wanting to play soccer or whatnot. It’s like #151 on the importance list. But the GOP ad playbook seems to be all in on the trans this cycle.

I'm not a single issue voter, but yea the gay and tranny life choices should not be tolerated. Is it as important as the current Marxist push happening across the country? No, not close. However it's an issue.

I saw a Yellowhammer News article on FB about how Tubberville is crushing Jones in all the polls. Which that should come as no surprise to anyone who knows anything about the political demographics of Alabama. But in the comments to this article it’s one stupid liberal white woman carrying on about how “all the yard signs they are seeing are for Jones”. These idiots really do live in a fantasy world.
