They should start by raiding the offices of the private security firms that protect those elected officials, disarm them, and disable all the gates of their communities.

Did the article say every street corner? All it said was an increased police presence leads to a reduction in crime.

If you take the time to read the article, it’s not because there are more arrests, actually there are fewer arrests because crime happens less often.

But again you fail to show data to back up your argument I did.

More cops in the streets mean less crime. Sure someone could go over to the next street and commit the crime but that opportunity may not be available on the next street.

Let’s say someone wants to rob a bank. If you put a cop sitting inside or in front of the bank it’s less likely someone will try and rob the bank. But if you do as you suggest and keep the cops sitting around waiting for a crime to happen, it’s more likely a bank robbery will happen. Why would anyone even someone crazy try and rob a bank with an armed police officer sitting inside or outside the bank?

The problem is not discrimination. They need a crime to have a cause. Why not the 2 X 4? It didn't fit the cause.

Do you even realize how stupid your argument is? Their presence reduces crime and the commission of crime.

You have been advocating for them to sit in the station and wait for the call, in turn a total removal from the community and you think crime will decrease?

I think a lot of them are just drawing a check doing as little as possible after this clusterfrick. They want to survive and they want to force the cities to pay them severance if they aren’t immediately retiring.

Well if you think about it they are the only remaining group that:
-Is refused service at some establishments
-Is referred to with slurs that are condemned if used on other demographics
-Is stereotyped and publicly ridiculed
-Is spit on, sprayed with water and has projectiles thrown at them and expected to just take it
-Is about to have their funding reduced while other groups get more
-Has dems wanting to dissolve their union to remove the "bad ones" (hello, teacher unions)
