If this is winning, what is losing? Seriously. Venezuela?
Again. The standards La voters set are atrocious.

It’s been a decades long problem. Voting for Edwards just continues the streak.

We really have a long history of electing clueless, crooked leaders.
Granted, it’s rare we have a decent field to choose from. La always hurts itself with these loser candidates.

Louisiana has always been a hard place, takes hard people to live here. Crime and poverty are the reason it is hard now, but there have always been reasons.
-Quadroon balls, because we couldn't attract Euro women
-Political football for a shitload of empires
-Later a political hot potato nobody but the Americans wanted
-Slaves accounting for 2/3rds of New Orleans' population at one point
Problems in Louisiana go waaaaay back. No single thing is to blame.
We need a reboot somehow. . .and no machination borne from the LA culture is going to be able to fix LA.
Not Rispone
Not Edwards
Not Jindal
Not any of them.

Cant do it all overnight. For starters, he got us out of debt. Now, we have a budget surplus. Perhaps he can start digging us out of last place. The guy at least has a plan.

This. Rispone didn't communicate his vision or plan at all. His only campaign slogan was "I'm with Trump". That was good enough for 700,000 votes though. THAT is alarming to me. Best candidate won.

The people who voted for JBE think he is doing great and the state is doing fine. They benefit from his spending and his program, and don't really pay his taxes.
This isn't hard to understand and it's a preview of what will happen in the rest of this country if we continue down this populist road.

What would Rispone have done different?
We don't know because be had no plans.
We won't know because he wasn't elected.

So you'd rather vote for a plan to further drive us into the ground rather than chance a man who built a multi-million dollar business from scratch?
JBE has done nothing in life but chase ambulances and frick Louisiana.

Clearly they believe he is doing a good enough job to be reelected. Why vote for someone you believe is doing a bad job?

Get all the citizens together and take back the entire louisiana purchase.

yay, JBE won and now for the next 4 years louisiana will continue to stay last in schools, jobs, job training, new business, and chemical contamination

Louisiana was always in the toilet and it will only get worse regardless of who is Governor. It is what it is.

My 12 year old could balance a checkbook if she could vote deposits into the account. That argument is so tired. He raised taxes after he said he wouldn't to balance the budget. A retard could do that
