I'm sorry dude but medicaid has been abused as welfare for far too long, it's not doing this country or those people any good to sit at home on their arse and not work if they are physically able

It’s not true, but if it was , I wouldn’t care.
I had a mini stroke due to an issue with my choroid artery and was unable to work for a year. I was told I didn’t qualify for temporary disability/unemployment/gov assistance as a single father of 3, but you have people able to work but choose to stay home and continue popping out kids and still get a monthly check. If they can work and get cut, frick em.

Wrong
A lot of long term care residents I work with have Medicare and Medicaid, because of this bill our company will get less reimbursement. Medicare has been slashing our therapy reimbursement for quite awhile now. These people will lose their quality of life or whatever dignity and life they have

in 2023, nearly two-thirds of adults ages 19-64 covered by Medicaid were working and nearly three in ten were not working because of caregiving responsibilities, illness or disability, or due to school attendance, reasons that counted as qualifying exemptions from the work requirements under previous policies. Based on the data, only a small share of Medicaid adults were not meeting work requirements or would not have qualified for an exemption qualifying exemptions: however, many more Medicaid enrollees who would remain eligible would be at risk of losing coverage because of the administrative burden and red tape related to reporting requirements.

What was the reason for your denial? Did you appeal it?

Who told you this? I literally quoted the bill. Is the bill a liar?

You have still ignored my question of do you think people should get free benefits without earning them through community service or bettering themselves through education.
I am not in favor of arduous and inefficient hurdles for people who qualify for Medicaid.

you are merely repeating the lying propaganda spewed by the democrap smear machine and amplified by the partisan media.

Is the bill lying? I literally quoted the bill. Are you Claiming the bill is not telling the truth about what is in the bill?
Specifically what are you claiming I’m lying about? What exactly is not true about what I posted?
Like many others in this thread, you’re calling me a liar while refusing to identify the lie.

You misspelled freeloading. Trump is slowing/halting the freeloading. Sorry that triggers you freeloading parasite types.

Why
Because if you are 40 and you haven't armed yourself with any life skills beyond minimum wage tasks that a 16 year old can perform, you've squandered your life away. You've has decades to better yourself, yet you're making $10 an hour. Burger King fry cook was never designed to be a career. It's part time labor for students and early entrants to the work force.
And if you're 40 with three kids making minimum wage it's likely you're stealing out of my wallet via tax dollars. While others were going to college or trade school and bettering themselves, you didn't. And now you want me to pay for your kids. frick that.

Bingo. Kids, elderly and those with not self inflicted REAL impairments are who my tax dollars should be supporting. Kids should be provided for AT school since parents clearly waste anything sent to the homes/parents.

It must be true. MSDNC, XINN, Chuck, Temu Obama, and AOC said so.

You look down on people working jobs you deem iferior for no valid reason. You’re just being a snob.

1). To my knowledge, fast food restaurants pay above minimum wage.
2.) while others were taking out student loans to get degrees that may or may not have positioned them for secure-employment… you’re mad that people older than teenagers who work at jobs you look down on didn’t take out loans to go to college?
3.) if you have such a a big problem with paying taxes, you should move to a country without taxes.
This board teeters between making fun of people with degrees the posters here don’t value and making fun of people for NOT going to college to get degrees the posters would probably make fun of anyway.
