Excuse me, are you serious? Is your name Fetterman?
Why don't you either invite them all into your house Dem or go buy each of them a home yourself.

I've been known to say/have said some dumb things on here just goofing off, but this is one of the dumbest questions I've ever heard................

I hope this has already been stated but I'm not reading 16 pages of posts:
The Constitution DOES NOT guarantee the right to keep and bare arms. This right is an inherent right and predates the Constitution.
The Constitution prohibits the government from infringing upon the individual's right to keep and bare arms.

Two additional comments regarding "a well regulated militia":
1) the militia is comprised of the citizenry, not limited to the active military, reserves, or National Guard;
2) well regulated means comparably equipped--which in the modern era includes but is not limited to rifles chambered in 5.56.

In the Civil War, businessmen sponsored and equipped local military units, including artillery units--So contrary to Brandon, individuals COULD (and did) buy cannons.

ETA: Did you see the movie Red Dawn? There's your militia--WOLVERINES!!!!

We need to get away from that altogether.

The well regulated militia is supportive of the right, but the right isn't dependent upon the well regulated militia.

quote:

A well educated populace, being necessary to the prosperity of a developed State, the right of the people to vote, shall not be infringed.

We wouldn't be narrowly focused on the well educated here. It's a sophomoric attempt at restriction and nothing more.

There are plenty of countries who do not have gun issues like America. I guess mass shootings are a god given right as well?

Are these places mirror images of America and just don't have the gun issues?

You must not have ever read the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, The Declaration of Independence, The Federalist Papers or the Anti-Federalist Papers. Show me where housing is a Constitutional right. Guess what, you can't!

Go be a communist somewhere else, you profligate.

I’m pretty sure you can go out and buy/rent/subsidize housing for others if this is that big a thing for you. Hell, you can even start a non-profit where you use the money to pay for housing for others. Get donors, have fundraisers, throw galas. Then use the money to fund housing.

There…problem solved.

Low IQ dolts like you can't accept reality. You are too stupid to undestand that life isn't fair and that many homeless are such because they make bad choices in life.

Cause when the Constitution was written, most everyone lived in rural areas and BUILT their own log homes. If you wanted a home, you got off your lazy arse and built one. And if you were homeless, no one gave a shite anyway. And this country didnt have a surplus of blue haired progs fricking everything up back then either.

So after reading this and hopefully others, you still think that Marx was correct in his economic thinking?

The thinking that has never worked anywhere, ever?
