I fully get the reasoning behind this thread, it seems like *they* are talking about COVID coming back more and more lately. But if it were some plan to influence the election, they blew their wad way too early

I think it's too early to talk about covid and the election - however, school just started and that would be a reasonable topic to attach to covid, considering what happened last time.
