There is no obsession with Putin. There are just Ukraine obsessed dumbasses who take a staunch "with us or against us" mentality. Someone doesn't fully support crippling our own country to send endless funds to Ukraine? Well, they are a Putin lover! It's quite similar to the strategy used when people don't vote Democrat. Someone doesn't vote Democrat? Then they are racists who want to enslave black people.

I don't think he is a good politician, especially in geopolitical terms. Even Bush II, with the quagmire that was Iraq, wasn't as short-sighted. No US politician has been as myopic as Putin, partly because they aren't in office as long. Obama's FP was utterly terrible, and even his FP was better than Putin's.

If our shite arse media and politicians are saying he's bad, he's probably not that bad.

If you disagree with sending money to Ukraine, you're a
"Putin stooge" according to the Ukraine retards.
They can't see anything between extremes.

hes clearly not interested in impressing the west with his FP bonafides. Hes trying to reclaim soviet lands by force and create a buffer between Moscow and a hostile west. The Russian people love that shite, and thats all he cares about.

He played to his ignorant base. Putin is no genius, but he has qualities that are missing in current world leadership, that is why we held him up as an "ideal" in contrast to 0bama 10 years ago - not because we liked Putin, but because the contrast was night and day.

But there are still real-world implications. The Russian FP elite themselves see a cosmic battle with the West, and have argued such since before Putin was in power. But Putin's objectives of keeping NATO off his western frontier are going to fail regardless of the intermediate outcome of the Russian invasion. In addition, areas like the Caspian Basin, the Black Sea, Syria, and the Kuril Islands will all see increased competition, with a corresponding drain on Russian resources.
And if your viewpoint is true, that the Russian people want to reclaim former Soviet areas by force, then the US aid to Ukraine is barely noteworthy, as the Russians (and especially their elite) themselves want conflict, and it is only a question of when.

Just because we don’t want billions of our taxpayer dollars going to Ukraine to be laundered for ALL our so called representatives means we support Putin? You win the most stupid post on the internet today award. Congrats

I'm conservative, and I despise Putin. Now what? Does that skew your observation?

I think you're projecting the anger at dropping billions of dollars in a shithole country we have no business funding as support for Putin.
frick Ukraine but honestly, frick Russia too. frick all of them who we give money to.
No lie. If you polled this country, I'd bet 90% of them would tell you all of Eastern Europe could frick right off.

You're absolutely confused when you make a claim that conservatives support Putin. The truth is....the vast majority of America First patriots no longer trust our federal government, particularly the current illegitimate regime. If there were responsible and competent people at the highest levels of our federal government there's a very high probability the Russia/Ukraine conflict is avoided.

That seems like a terrible reason to look up to anyone.

The reason why you held him up as an ideal in contrast to Obama is because you're a fricking moron

Let's do a poll:
Who has harmed America more?
0bama or Putin?
To say 0bama 10,000,000 to 1 would be a gross underestimation. GFY.
