You laugh, but my grandfather, a Louisiana politician and a KKK member told me the same thing right after the civil rights act was signed (I was a young boy). He also said that they would never let "N.....s" get off the plantation.
Both he and LBJ, while wrong, were right.

They are such victims it's getting so fricking old. They are 15% of the population but take up 60% of the oxygen. Makes me appreciate Hispanics and Asians a hell of a lot more
