History of Russia has been one of standing in the way of the one world globalists. Czar in 1862 thwarted French & English coming into US on side of South during Civil War, at the request of Lincoln. Revenge was sworn against Czar and their families, enacted with "Bolshevik" revolution on record financed by US Banksters. Ironically, now, Putin, stands in the way of one of the final linchpins in global banking scheme. Fake war in Syria is being stymied by Putin and Russia because Syria is one of their biggest trade partners. Our government on record financing Al Quaeda in Syria to overthrow Assad... a pro democracy leader. Now, anything that can be used against Putin and Russia - i.e., his girlfriend lighting the flame - is being used to discredit him. Schill's like Arsenio, Letterman, et. al, then simply read the jokes each day to discredit Russia directly and Putin indirectly in the mindless chasm that is the American TV viewing public... The bad press is because Russia wants to see something other than the planned collapse of the dollar taking down all other currencies...

Russia is in bed with Iran, which in addition to refusing to open itself up to a central bank, has threatened to deal oil in currency other than the dollar. China, on the other hand, is for the most part "playing ball."
Way wrong.

Both Russia and China have been using their own and other currencies when trading oil for several years.

I'm not saying Putin wasn't behind it, but linking him directly is like linking any US president to wrongdoing by the CIA/NSA, which the US has plenty of.

I missed this earlier...you don't think Bush/Obama shouldn't be linked to the NSA??? What in the frick world do you live in???

I'm wondering if this is mostly the American MSM or is other world media doing the same.

I spoke with someone who has a relative competing and he said it is not the horror show that we've been hearing.

Surely not a love affair...but don't tell that if presented the chance to choose between Obama...and Putin...a bunch of us would pause!

At least if Putin owned/ruled this Country...he'd fight for it...instead of trying to water us down. For real.

I was watching some Olympic coverage and it seems that is all the American press talked about, citing no real examples. What examples do people have of him being this evil despot? Sure, he's crooked as all get out, but this comes off as an agenda.

You can be put in jail for being openly gay, or just protesting against the fact that he doesn't even fake getting elected anymore.

Like hardcore russion jails.

A question for you anti government mouthbreathers? where do you think the ruling elite came from in Russia? the government. How did they get ubber wealthy? selling government property (oil and gas leases, weapons) after the fall of communism. Who has been the absolute model of this process? Career government emplyee Putin.

This...

There is a subculture of Putin love in this country in general. It's more about him embarrassing the President IMO. Still, Romney was actually correct in his assessment of our "largest geographical foe".

Russia has the moral courage to take a stand against the 27/7 Homosexual propaganda machine. And also has the morale courage to speak out against America's murderous foreign policy machine.

I noticed in your history lesson that you skipped over the whole Stalin thing. And the part when the Soviet Union attempted to stand in the way of the "one world globalists." How'd that work out for them?

Taking a stand involves gov thugs beating up and arresting protesters? That is how you think ideas you diagree with should be handled. The next time some jackass like you decries the dictatorship of Obama or big gov Obama I'll understand it to mean you're not against the imperial presidency or big gov you're just against this particular version. How American of you. How long have you hated the ideals of your country?
